I enjoy hearing about people's success stories and how they've manifested different things. I also love reading about these narratives. One of Neville Goddard's books, "The Law and the Promise," contains numerous success stories. He taught, through lectures, how to create and manifest things simply by imagining them in your mind. Specifically, he emphasized imagining as if you are already experiencing the desired outcome.

One of the stories from the book recounts a doctor and his wife who desired to build an apartment building on the adjacent lot, despite having no money for it. This story resonates with me because my husband and I share an interest in real estate. What fascinates me is how they managed to complete the project without spending any money.

"For many years, the doctor and his wife dreamed of their ideal home, but it wasn't until they began imaginatively living in it that they saw it materialize. They purchased a lot and built a two-story building for their office and living space. However, they lacked the funds for the additional apartment building they desired. Despite having savings, they were hesitant to use them, fearing it would jeopardize their financial security. Encouraged by Neville Goddard's teachings, they decided to put their imaginations to the test.

They mentally constructed the new building, envisioning every detail and feeling as if it were already a reality. They imagined renting out the units, receiving congratulations from friends, and even brought a skeptical friend into their imaginal scene. Despite initially rejecting the idea of hiring a contractor, one eventually approached them with plans for the building. Surprisingly, he offered to finance the project himself, and construction began immediately. Most of the units were rented out before completion, and their dream was fully realized when a long-overdue visitor admired their new building."

What strikes me about this story is how their unwavering faith in their imaginations led to the manifestation of their desires, without them spending any of their own money. It serves as a powerful reminder of the potential of the human imagination to create our reality. It encourages me to think about what I want to manifest in my own life and to hold onto that vision with unwavering faith.

Thinking From the End

One of the themes of Neville Goddard's teaching was "Thinking from the End" which basically means to imagine the end result that you want to achieve. Don't spend your time worrying about "how" it will come about, just lovingly imagine the finished scene. Put yourself in the scene and imagine what it would feel like if your desire was already here. How would you act? What would you be doing? In this example, the couple envisioned every detail of the apartment complex, the finished apartment complex. In their minds, they were walking through the completed finished building. They were not focusing their thoughts on who they were going to hire to do the work, or how they were going to get the money to pay for this massive real estate development project. No, they simply imagined the apartment complex in its completed state, and renting out the units. If they were actually renting out the units to tenants, that implied that the building got constructed! That scene implied that it was done! To make it even more real, their imaginal scene involved a skeptical friend, whom they showed their completed building to. Once their apartment building became reality, this skeptical friend was shown the building and complimented them on it.
